Seattle native Sandy Wilson began his film career in 1995, working on commercials and music videos while filming bands in the burgeoning mid-90’s Silverlake scene. He would later move to New York and work as a producer for boutique fashion ad agency MIKCO+, and with French production company Paradoxal. Returning to Seattle, Wilson began his career in music licensing at Light In The Attic Records in 2006, where he helped to build the young startup into the worldwide name it is today. Wilson licensed LITA’s music in spots for BMW, Cadillac, Microsoft, Budweiser, and for the Oscar-winning documentary Searching For Sugar Man. Wilson also began working asĀ  a music supervisor in 2007, most notably for his work on the Oscar-winning film Undefeated, Matthew Lillard’s directorial debut Fat Kid Rules The World, and Craig Johnson’s True Adolescents. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
